Gracechurch Centre retains Park Mark award for 10th year running
The Gracechurch Centre in Sutton Coldfield has retained the prestigious Park Mark award for the 10th successive year for its 950 space car park.
Michael Gardner, British Parking Association Area Manager, said: “Each time we visit to conduct the assessment, it is always excellent to see the continual improvement and maintenance of the high standards required. This is testament to the hard work and enthusiasm by those responsible for the car park. The on site reception facility in the car park is also a great asset for customers to use if required."
A Park Mark is awarded to parking facilities that pass a rigorous risk assessment conducted by the police and the British Parking Association. The assessments include management and maintenance of the facility, ensuring that there are appropriate levels of surveillance, lighting, signage and cleanliness. These criteria are known to reduce the opportunity for crime and create a safer environment for the motorist and their vehicle.
Pete Jones, Operations Manager at The Gracechurch Centre commented: “We pride ourselves on the management and maintenance of our car parking facilities here at The Gracechurch Centre and we're thrilled to have received this award, which recognises the tireless work our groundstaff, customer service and centre wide team do to safeguard the facilities we provide.”
